Responsibility Leader
The Responsibility Leader® designation recognizes select winners of the Power Broker and Risk Innovator awards who exceed expectations – while doing the right thing. While Liberty Mutual Insurance sponsors the award, Risk & Insurance’s editors and a third-party judging panel select the winners.
How do I apply?
Simply apply for the Power Broker or Risk Innovator awards, and if you win, you may be selected for the special Responsibility Leader designation.
What does it take to be a Responsibility Leader?
The qualifications differ slightly depending on the base award:
Power Broker »
The Responsibility Leader® designation honors those Power Broker winners who best exemplify the following attributes:
- Going above and beyond the call of duty in a way that benefits their clients, company and community
- Doing the right thing over the easy thing
- Encouraging young people to consider brokerage and insurance as a career
Risk Innovator »
The Responsibility Leader® designation honors those Risk Innovator winners who go above and beyond the call of duty by:
- Developing a risk solution that is unique and practical
- Ensuring that the solution benefits not only the Innovator’s organization, but also its employees and/or the community
- Doing the right thing over the easy thing to overcome obstacles
